Do all new Volkswagens come with a first aid kit and warning triangle?
Not all of our vehicles come with a warning triangle and first aid kit - for example in our low emission vehicles, every gram counts towards reducing the weight of the car so that it is road tax exempt. If your chosen vehicle doesn't come with the accessories you need, have a look at our great value safety kit here, or talk to your local retailer about your specific requirements.

Will the car tell me when the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) needs replacing?
There is no replacement interval for Diesel Particulate Filters but generally after 90,000 (fitted on models up to 2009) to 120,000 miles (from 2010 models onward) there is a service check to ascertain their serviceability. If it needs replacement then it counts as a service item.
