You'll find this particularly helpful when it comes to hill starts. Smooth start In models with manual gearboxes, a clutch sensor ensures the car starts off as smoothly as possible. Just press the accelerator and release the clutch. In models with automatic transmission, you simply press the accelerator and this clever system will find the ideal point to release the brake.
