All things considered, the Tiguan is probably the most capable and impressive single vehicle we've ever tested from the Volkswagen stable. Even discounting all the extra equipment on the top-spec Escape model, the basic Tiguan is still an excellent allrounder, both stylish and practical, offering equal competence both on and off road, and the 2.0 TDI provides a perfect blend of performance and fuel economy.
