Spirit Motor Holdings limited is a family business founded by Philip and Jean Derbyshire. The company opened its first Volkswagen Dealership in Banbury Oxfordshire in October 1991. In 1996 Spirit expanded with the addition of Spirit Volkswagen in Warwick, which moved to flagship premises in Royal Leamington Spa in 2002.
