Active safety covers everything in our cars designed to help stop accidents from happening. Depending on the model, this includes:
- Directional stability: the result of the chassis's suspension set-up and its cornering stability. Steering precision, braking power and braking stability also play a vital role.
- Driver and occupant comfort: noise is minimised while automatic air conditioning maintains a pleasant temperature, helping to prevent lapses in concentration. Tests have shown that when the interior temperature is 27 °C, the driver misses six per cent more visual and sound signals than at 21 °C.
- Effective lights and good all-round visibility - including a clear rear view with the blind spot kept as small as possible.

- Convenience features like the rain sensor, which automatically ensures a clear view through the windscreen.
