Efficient aerodynamics plays a vital role in your car's overall efficiency.
The more aerodynamic the car, the less drag, meaning less effort is needed to push it through the air. This leads to better performance and fuel economy. Our cars have aerodynamically efficient body shapes, featuring very narrow body panel gaps, flush fitting windows and headlights, reshaped door mirrors and efficient underbody panels. This streamlining also means your car will be safer and more stable when you're driving fast or in crosswinds.
We use Computer Aided Design (CAD) techniques to test our cars' aerodynamics in a virtual environment. By carefully considering complex flow behaviour over its body, our engineers and designers are able to produce cars with excellent aerodynamic properties. We are constantly optimising the aerodynamics of our cars - advanced aerodynamics is an important feature of BlueMotion models.
