Body Galvanisation
The most reliable method of protecting sheet steel against corrosion is galvanising. Galvanisation is a form of zinc-plating in which the zinc reacts with the underlying steel to create a stable compound that is immune to surface damage. Galvanisation, which is applied in very thin layers of less than 20 micrometres, is used primarily to treat finer surfaces such as the visible surfaces of your car's body.
