Comfort Braking Assistant
The new Comfort Braking Assistant, the latest form of Hydraulic Brake Assist (HBA), helps even unskilled drivers reduce braking distance by around 25 per cent. It works out - from the speed at which you press the brake pedal - whether this is a normal or emergency braking situation. If it decides an emergency stop is needed, braking pressure is automatically increased with the anti-lock brakes activated, ensuring the level of braking is correct for the situation.
