Park Assist

When fitted with Park Assist, your car can practically park itself, cleverly steering into position. All you do is control the pedals. The system works by using sensors in the front bumpers, together with parking sensors, front and rear. To parallel park you simply press the Park Assist button and indicate before your car passes your chosen parking space. Sensors then check the size of the space as you drive slowly past it. If it is suitable, you stop the car, select reverse gear and let go of the steering wheel. Park Assist will show you the intended reverse path in the multifunctional display. It then takes over the steering control and parks your car. You continue to brake, accelerate and apply the clutch. Park Assist will instantly deactivate if the speed is too high or if you take over the steering.
