Rear seatbelt warning light

When you opt for side airbags and belt tensioners for the outer rear seats of some models our new rear seatbelt warning system is automatically included. The warning system alerts you if your rear passengers are not safely buckled up when the car is started. Relevant symbols appear on the multifunction display for 30 seconds after the ignition is turned on. A buckled figure indicates a passenger has fastened their seatbelt properly, while an empty seat shows the seatbelt is still to be secured. The system will also swing into action if it detects an unfastened seatbelt when the car is travelling at more than 15mph. The seatbelt indicator flashes for 30 seconds and a warning signal is sounded. So you can be confident that all your passengers - especially children - are safely fastened into their seats.
