In 1973, Thomas Tilling carries out a major re-organisation of Volkswagen (GB) Limited merging the Volkswagen and Audi brands into one and their dealer networks are also merged into one. John Wagner takes over as Managing Director. By January 1975 more than 200 dealerships in the UK are selling both marques.
