Volkswagen celebrated 55 years of trading in the UK in 2008 and 2007 marked the 30th anniversary of the Golf GTI. Naturally, we're very proud of our heritage - few car manufacturers have produced so many legendary cars as Volkswagen.

About our Undergraduate Placement Scheme

Each year across the entire Volkswagen Group in the UK we offer students the opportunity to join us for 12 months and carry out a real job within our business. These roles include placements in Marketing, PR and Communication, Planning and Analytical roles and IT & Business Support roles.

We will give you the opportunity to use your year in industry to its fullest potential – really immersing yourself in our business, adding value from day one, and gaining a wealth of experience that will be both applicable to your studies and to your career post-graduation.

The scheme is open to any student at a UK university who is eligible to work full-time in the UK. Students should be on a sandwich degree or course which offers a 1 year industrial placement. We are looking for strong academic achievements of course but we also want well-rounded ambitious people with plenty of motivation and a 'can-do' attitude.

Applications for the 2012/13 intake are now closed. Applications will re-open in October 2012 for the 2013/14 intake.
