SMMT New Car Code of Practice

The SMMT New Car Code of Practice is a consumer code of practice that has been put in place to ensure that Vehicle manufacturers maintain the highest levels of service to their customers.

The Code has been approved by the Office of Fair Trading and outlines the standards that Vehicle manufacturers comply with regarding new car sales, car manufacturer’s warranties, availability of replacement parts, advertising and complaints.
