• I’ve imported a vehicle from another country – how much warranty does it have?

  All countries have different warranties according to the legislation and legal responsibilities applicable in that country.

  For imported vehicles, the only way to confirm your warranty is to take your chassis number to your local Volkswagen Retailer who can check our Factory system and advise you on which warranty is applicable to your vehicle.

  Please do not assume that you will have the standard warranty applicable to UK vehicles as this is unlikely to be the case.

  In order to ensure that any warranty you do have remains valid, please abide by the stated terms and conditions of the warranty.

• How can I tell when my Warranty is due to run out?

  For UK supplied vehicles, the two year manufacturer warranty, and third year Retailer warranty runs from the date of registration or from the purchase invoice date.
