Volkswagen Golf BlueMotion named What Car? Green Car of the Year
Volkswagen’s BlueMotion range of vehicles has added a further three awards – including overall Green Car of the Year – to its list of accolades, this time at the What Car? Green Awards 2010 which were presented last night at a ceremony at Twickenham Stadium in London.

Value-added Match model joins Volkswagen Golf range
Reinforcing the ‘Unbelievable value’ message of its latest marketing campaign, Volkswagen is adding a new model to the Golf line-up. Using the familiar Match name, the new variant replaces the SE trim level, and adds over £1,600 worth of extra equipment while costing just £300 more than the outgoing car.

Golf blue-e-motion: The future of Volkswagen e-mobility
To coincide with the foundation event held in Berlin for a National Platform for Electric Mobility and in the presence of German Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel, Volkswagen has unveiled the Golf blue-e-motion and has outlined its future programme for electric and hybrid production vehicles.

Volkswagen honoured at 2010 Fleet News Awards
Volkswagen has won two key categories as well as the highly competitive company car title at this year’s Fleet News Awards, with the Polo being named ‘Best Supermini’ while the Golf picked up both the ‘Best Lower medium Car’ as well as the coveted ‘2010 Company Car of the Year’.

Volkswagen presents world's most eco-friendly one-make cup
Following the successful debut of the compressed natural gas-powered Scirocco GT24-CNG at the Nürburgring 24-hour race, Volkswagen is launching a one-make Bio-CNG-powered race series in 2010.
