Touran & The David Beckham Academy

The Volkswagen Touran has sponsored the David Beckham Academy for the past two years and is committed to encouraging active, healthy lifestyles for children.

Volkswagen understands that all parents want their kids to be healthy and happy, but that kids also need encouragement to get involved. Initiatives such as The David Beckham Academy make sport accessible to kids of any background and encourage them to start getting involved in sport, a habit that will hopefully stay with them for life if they understand the benefits of being active at an early age.

    We are attending 6 county fairs throughout the summer with The David Beckham Academy. The events involve The David Beckham Academy coaches providing a scaled down version of what goes on at The Academy.

  • Schools Day

    Volkswagen provides 12 mini busses to transport children from schools to The David Beckham Academy for the 'Schools Day Visit Programme'.
