Wolfsburg (14 February 2016). Four wins in a row at the only winter rally in the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC): Volkswagen won the Rally Sweden through Sébastien Ogier/Julien Ingrassia (F/F) and remains unbeaten on ice and snow with the Polo R WRC. For Ogier and Ingrassia, this latest victory was the third success in four years at this classic rally and their 34th in total.

Wolfsburg (24 January 2016). One-two at the “Monte”, the third in a row for driver, co-driver and team – Sébastien Ogier/Julien Ingrassia (F/F) enjoyed a magnificent success at the Rally Monte Carlo. Their team-mates Andreas Mikkelsen/Anders Jæger (N/N) finished runner-up to complete a Volkswagen one-two and round off a dream start to the 2016 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC).

Participants in the 'V-Charge' project in addition to Volkswagen Group Research are the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich, the Technical University of Braunschweig, Robert Bosch GmbH, the University of Parma and Oxford University.

The e-Golf Touch has some surprises in store with a new infotainment system of the next generation. Volkswagen will offer one of the world's first compact cars to feature gesture control. The new infotainment system has a configurable 9.2-inch home screen.
