I bought a car outside the Volkswagen Retailer Network and I’d like to update my details on Volkswagen systems. How do I do this?
Please take the V5 document showing that you own the vehicle, and two forms of identification, one of which must be photographic, to your nearest Volkswagen Retailer who will be able to update our systems with your details. Please note we cannot update our systems retrospectively, only from the date you present your details to the Volkswagen Retailer. We cannot update your details over the phone, by fax or email, or without appropriate proof of identity
