New design

The tornado line is the first thing to catch the eye. This prominent design line extends from the front side panels along the standard four doors and around the rear of the new Polo. With its long bonnet, the front appears more dynamic and also broader, thanks to its horizontal lines. Its sporty appearance, compact dimensions and short overhangs promise maximum driving enjoyment.

With carbon optic sports seats, high-gloss decorative trim with a variety of colours, a black roof, sporty alloy wheels and many other features, the optional design packages offer a vast range of customisation options, allowing everyone to create their own unique Polo.

More comfort

The new Polo now features the Active Info Display. Optionally, the analogue speedometer can be replaced with a crystal-clear 26 cm (10.25 inch) screen. This displays the speedometer and odometer along with detailed driving data, the navigation map or various driver assistance systems.

New infotainment systems with large displays also enhance the new Polo. Optional touch screens with a diagonal of up to 20.3 cm (8 inches) are exceptionally user-friendly. The inductive smartphone charging is yet another comfortable option. The smartphone recharges wirelessly when placed in the storage compartment.

The “Front Assist” assistance system is a standard feature and can support the driver with maintaining the correct distance to the vehicle ahead. When combined with Pedestrian Monitoring, it can detect obstacles that appear without warning and brake the vehicle automatically, within the system’s limits.

The “Blind Spot” sensor is now available as an option for the Polo for the first time. It can warn the driver of vehicles in the driver’s blind spot. “Park Assist”, the most comfortable parking assist system from Volkswagen, is another new option for the Polo. This system not only parks the vehicle without the driver having to steer but also helps the driver to find the right parking space.

Polo beats

Those who would rather go their own way will love these two top models. With its unique design and impressive sound system, the Polo beats embodies the modern urban lifestyle. Six loudspeakers and a subwoofer from the audio specialists Beats Electronic always put the driver and passengers in a good mood. The striking film adhesive², exclusively designed for the Polo beats, is based on the selected paintwork colour.

The interior continues the GTI look with a sports steering wheel featuring decorative stitching as well as the typical GTI gear lever.
