When it comes to power, Eos has something for everyone. No fewer than five engine options are available, providing a rich blend of smooth performance, economy and technology. This dynamic engine range embraces petrol and diesel engines, with power outputs from 122 to 250 PS. The petrol units feature our highly efficient direct fuel injection system. By injecting petrol directly into the engine's compression chambers, the fuel is burnt more efficiently, leading to improved economy. The benefits That means better performance, smoother running and improved fuel economy. In 1.4-litre form, the EOS develops 122 PS while a 2.0-litre version of the engine boosts power to 150 PS. And when a turbocharger is added, that rises to 200 PS. If this is still not enough, the 3.2 V6 with Volkswagen's DSG as standard delivers 250 PS and reaches 62mph in just over 7 seconds! For the ultimate economy, there's the 2.0-litre TDI 140 PS, a turbocharged diesel which achieves 47mpg on the combined cycle.
