Why do we need airbags? Because seat-belts alone are not enough. In an accident, passengers can be thrown forward even when they're belted increasing the risk of injuries. That's where airbags come in. The Eos has driver and front passenger airbags and front seat side impact airbags. Combined with seat belts, these four airbags provide an exceptional level of protection for drivers and front-seat passengers - by cushioning the impact in the event of a collision. What does the airbag do? An airbag is deployed in the event of an accident to cushion the body and minimise the risk of injury. Cushions the body in a side impact too. Inflates and deflates in just milliseconds.
