As a result, the structure is so strong that, in the event of a collision, it can absorb the impact energy and thereby hold the driver and passengers safely within its protective inner cell. You'll also find it has improved road holding and, because laser welding ensures narrow, uniform gaps between the body panels, dramatically reduced wind noise.
