New Volkswagen SUV concept makes global debut at Detriot show
Volkswagen has unveiled a new SUV concept at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.Called the CrossBlue, it has been developed specifically for the U.S. and Canada, and if it goes into production would sit above the Tiguan and below the Touareg in the Volkswagen SUV line-up.

Toureg Adventurer sets off on new world record
Wolfsburg, 30 July 2012: Long distance driving veteran Rainer Zietlow and his team have set off on a new record-breaking trip: the long-distance adventurer is aiming to do 23,000 kilometres from Melbourne to St. Petersburg in a Touareg powered by the standard engine. Zietlow plans to cover the route from the earth’s southernmost city of over a million inhabitants to its northernmost counterpart in less than three weeks.
