24 hours New T‑Roc Test Drive Terms and Conditions
In these Terms and Conditions “we” or “us” shall mean Volkswagen Group United Kingdom Limited (trading as Volkswagen UK) a company incorporated under the laws of England and Wales (company number 514809) whose registered office is at Yeomans Drive, Blakelands, Milton Keynes, Bucks, MK14 5AN, United Kingdom.
We reserve the right to alter, amend, foreclose or withdraw the 24 hours New T‑Roc Test Drive (“Test Drive”) and/or the terms and conditions (“Terms”) at any time and without prior notice.
Please read these Terms carefully. They set out the terms of the use of the demonstrator vehicle (“New T‑Roc”) provided by us or your retailer to you. You may be required to enter into a loan agreement or sign further terms and conditions with your Retailer.
Your acceptance and use of the New T‑Roc shall constitute specific acceptance of these Terms. If there is a conflict in these Terms with any other terms whatsoever attached to any other advertising material in respect of the Test Drive, these Terms will take precedence.
You acknowledge that in using the New T‑Roc you do so at your own risk. Neither the Volkswagen Group United Kingdom Ltd. nor any of its employees or agents shall be liable in respect of any action, costs, claims, damages, expenses or losses (whether direct, indirect or consequential) whatsoever, which arise out of or in connection with your use of the New T‑Roc save that Volkswagen Group United Kingdom Ltd does not exclude its liability (if any) for death or personal injury caused by its negligence (or that of its employees or agents) or for any matter which it would be unlawful to exclude or attempt to exclude.
Term
1. Unless specified otherwise, you may use the New T‑Roc for one maximum continuous period of 24 hours, beginning on the date of delivery by your Retailer.
2. The Test Drive will be available from May 19, 2026 to 31 July 2026.
3. New T‑Roc for Test Drive are subject to availability. We cannot guarantee that a particular trim will be available to Test Drive.
4. Only one (1) Test Drive per household.
Driver Eligibility Criteria
5. The Test Drive will be only available to all individuals who at the time of booking and through the period of the Test Drive:
(a) are residents of UK;
(b) are aged between 25 and 70 years old; and
(c) hold a current EU driving licence (held for a minimum of three (3) years, with no more than six (6) penalty points);
(d) have no conviction on their licence in the last three (3) years which resulted in disqualification;
(e) is not under investigation for, or been found guilty of dangerous driving offence, a drink or drug related offence or a driving without insurance offence.
T‑Roc Use
1. New T‑Roc is provided for demonstration and evaluation purposes only and should not be used for any other purpose. The New T‑Roc is only to be used under standard driving conditions unless otherwise agreed.
2. New T‑Roc must only be driven in mainland UK or Northern Ireland unless prior written approval has been given by us or your Retailer.
3. You must, at all times, provide secure accommodation for the New T‑Roc, and keep it locked and safe when not in use.
4. Pets in the New T‑Roc are allowed at the retailer’s discretion. If a child seat is required, this should be provided by you.
5. You agree not to drive the New T‑Roc if under the influence of alcohol or controlled drugs and you agree not to smoke or vape in the vehicle
6. You agree not to use a handheld mobile phone (or other communication device) whilst driving.
7. You shall not do anything in respect of or in connection with the New T‑Roc which may contravene relevant road traffic acts or any other applicable legislation.
8. You agree to wear a properly always fastened seat belt whilst driving (or being driven in).
9. You agree to be responsible for any speeding, parking or other fines or charges incurred whilst the New T‑Roc is in your control.
10. You will return the New T‑Roc in the agreed date and time. The Retailer shall be entitled to charge a late return fee if the New T‑Roc is not returned on the agreed date and time.
Fines and Penalties
1. You shall, without limitation, pay promptly all bridge tolls, congestion charges and any fines (fixed or otherwise) or penalties in respect of parking, driving or similar offences incurred in connection with the use of the New T‑Roc during your period of use.
2. You are not permitted to smoke or vape in the vehicle or allow anyone else to smoke or vape and will comply with the requirements of the applicable no smoking laws and regulations of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales (as applicable) and you shall be liable for any proven claims which may be brought against you pursuant to any such legislation.
Risk
1. Any loss or proven damage or injury to the New T‑Roc or any person using it or to any person because of the New T‑Roc or its use, shall be at your risk. You shall not carry out any repair to the New T‑Roc without our or your Retailer’s prior consent.
2. The Retailer must be informed immediately of any accident, theft or any damage whatsoever caused to the Vehicle or any part of it.
Roadside Recovery
1. The New T‑Roc is covered for breakdown assistance and roadside recovery services. In the event that this service is required, you should contact the Roadside Assistance Provider. Roadside Assistance on 0330 100 3241 stating the New T‑Roc registration number and that the New T‑Roc is subject to these terms and conditions as a demonstrator vehicle.
Insurance
1. Your Retailer shall be responsible for insuring the New T‑Roc for the duration of the 24 Hour Test Drive.. Excess charges may apply.
Title
1. Title in the New T‑Roc shall always remain with us or your Retailer. You shall not, without our prior written consent, offer to sell, assign, lease, mortgage, charge, encumber or part with possession or otherwise deal with any New T‑Roc nor create or allow any lien over a New T‑Roc.
General
1. If we fail to or delay in enforcing any of these Terms, that will not constitute a waiver of the our rights nor prevent the us from taking steps to enforce any of these terms or its rights at a later date.
2. The construction, validity and performance of these Terms shall be governed in all respects by English Law and the parties irrevocably agree that the Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in any proceedings which may arise out of or in connection with these Terms.
