Ready for new routes

Following our step-by-step instructions, you can easily download the latest maps from myVolkswagen directly to your navigation system.

Log in to myVolkswagen with your Volkswagen ID. Go to the profile icon at the top right and select “My Vehicles & Products” to show your vehicle details. Don’t have a Volkswagen ID yet? Then you can register on myVolkswagenOpens an external link at any time.

Add your vehicle. Enter your vehicle identification number (VIN) and add the vehicle to your garage. Then we can show you all the suitable navigation maps there. Already added your vehicle? You can skip this step.

Choose the right map update. Directly below the vehicle details, you can select and download individual navigation maps for your vehicle in the "Map Update" area. If you need more information, you will find it in the installation guide. Download not working? Please check that your SD card has enough storage space.

Radio updates

Update station logos and voice commands – it's easy.

Update your infotainment system’s radio station database conveniently and free of charge via the phonostar GmbH website. This updates the database (station names, station logos) of the "Composition Media", "Discover Media" and "Discover Pro" devices for Volkswagen from model year 2016 onwards. In addition, the speech recognition commands are kept up to date.
