Whatever lies ahead, the new Polo has got you covered.
Keeping you safe and comfortable
Taking the stress out of unexpected situations, the new Polo keeps you safer than ever before. If the Front Assist detects a possible collision, it lets you know with an acoustic and visual warning and prepares the car for emergency braking. If you don’t react, City Emergency Braking steps in to slow the car down, with the aim of fully avoiding a collision or reducing its impact.
Navigation and entertainment at your fingertips
Life is about the journey, not the destination. The new Polo’s sophisticated infotainment systems let you make every trip into an adventure. Connect your smartphone to make crystal clear hands-free calls, use the SatNav to discover new places in your local area, or enjoy the latest music with a premium media system.
Eye-catching, from any angle
The new Polo has had a modern, sporty facelift. With a fresh, clean style and dynamic lines, it strikes the perfect balance between design and function. With sports seats, high-gloss decorative trim in a variety of colours, a black roof, sporty alloy wheels and a whole host of other features, the optional design packages offer all the customisation options you need to create your own unique Polo.

Volkswagen is starting the new year in winning style with a raft of awards honours. The new generation Polo is today named Small Car of the Year at the 2019 What Car? Awards. At the influential What Car? awards the Polo triumphed in the Small Car of the Year category, fending off other price point winners to take the title, with the exacting judges commenting: “The Polo sets the standard for comfort, practicality and refinement in the small car class, while its frugal 1.0-litre petrol engine and strong resale values make it a good long-term buy, and Volkswagen has kept the pricing sensible. There are no weaknesses in its armour.”
