VW Connect Plus and We Connect Plus - your advanced connectivity service

Connect Plus services offer advanced connectivity, providing features like remote vehicle access, real-time information on your ID’s status, remote vehicle control as well as live traffic information and additional navigation services. Using these services requires you to sign up online to a separate VW Connect Plus or We Connect Plus contract with Volkswagen AG.

The Volkswagen app – your ID’s digital companion

The Volkswagen app allows you to interact with and monitor your ID vehicle from your mobile device. Features include remote locking and unlocking, remote climate control setting and the ability to check your ID’s battery status remotely. The app even allows you to use your smartphone as a remote control, allowing you to park or get out of tight spaces while standing outside the car.
