Inspired by the original 1976 Golf GTI, it fuses front‑wheel‑drive thrills with instant electric torque, delivering a drive that’s sharp, confident and unmistakably GTI. Built on the advanced MEB+ platform and equipped with an electronically controlled front‑axle differential lock managed by Vehicle Dynamics Manager, it brings precision handling and confident traction to every corner—just like the latest Golf GTI. First teased at IAA MOBILITY 2025 and heading for its world premiere in summer 2026, the 166 kW (226 PS) ID.
