Latest COVID-19 Update

We're complying with the latest government advice on COVID-19 which varies by country and area, but it's always best to check the guidance where you live and contact your retailer in advance to discuss your requirements.

In general where retail restrictions are not in place, showrooms are fully open for you to visit for new and used car sales as well as servicing, MOT and parts sales.                                     

Where 'non-essential retail outlets' as defined by regional governments are closed, vehicle handovers are generally still available, along with servicing and parts sales by appointment.

And of course, our retailer teams are always available via telephone or online for any sales enquiries or appointment booking.

Please note that where it is now a requirement to wear a face covering in a shop or supermarket, this also applies to our retailers. You can check what’s required here .

Collecting your new Volkswagen vehicle

All handovers will be completed following procedures designed to support social distancing and reduce risk. The team at your retailer will be in touch to confirm your handover appointment date and time and explain the steps that will be followed to complete the handover.


Planning your visit

In order to maintain social distancing and manage the volume of visitors to our sites, we will be asking all customers to book a timed appointment before visiting. Please contact your local retailer to discuss your preferred date and time.


Digitally open

Even where showrooms are closed, or for those who prefer to stay home for now, there are many ways to view and experience our products online and we welcome virtual appointments for new and used vehicles. Please contact your retailer to discuss your requirements.


Retailer appointments

In order to try to ensure the safety of staff and customers we will be operating a contactless approach where possible, and aim to make all appointments efficient and memorable, whether these are to view a specific model, take an unaccompanied test drive or bring your vehicle to us for service or repair. Our teams are committed to observing all recommended hygiene measures, and to ensure we can maintain appropriate social distancing we’ve altered the layout of our showrooms and service areas.


Caring for your Volkswagen

Our Retailers are complying with the latest government advice on COVID-19 which varies by country and area. Where restrictions are in place retailers can offer different ways to care for your vehicle while maintaining social distancing when your vehicle needs a service or repair. Our ‘Contactless’ approach will allow us to ensure we maintain your vehicle and get you back on the road as soon as possible. Courtesy cars, collect and delivery

Your retailer will be able to advise you on alternative transport and mobility services they can provide, such as courtesy cars. Some of these services may be limited or withdrawn during the current situation. Please contact your local retailer for more information.
