Want to check your ID. model’s remaining range? With the Volkswagen app on your smartphone, you can keep track of your battery’s charge level and remaining range when your ID. is online and check whether the charging cable is connected. If it is, you can start or stop charging sessions from your sofa. To do so, simply enter your departure time for work once and your ID. will be waiting for you with a full charge every morning.

We Charge makes charging your ID. even easier. At home using the connected wall box or on the road with public charge points from one of Europe’s biggest and fastest-growing charging networks. The In-Car App directly integrated into the infotainment system of your ID. is especially practical, as it enables you to search for available charging stations near you on the map – including information about the available connector types and charging speeds – and use them as a navigation destination.

The specified consumption and emissions values were obtained using the legally required measurement procedure. On 1 January 2022, the WLTP test cycle fully replaced the NEDC test cycle. Accordingly, no NEDC values are available for new type-approved vehicles after this date. Figures are not based on a single individual vehicle and are not part of the offer, but serve solely to facilitate comparisons between different types of vehicles. Additional equipment and accessories (attachments, tyre format, etc.) could change relevant vehicle parameters, such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics. As well as weather and traffic conditions and personal driving style, these add-ons could also affect a vehicle’s fuel consumption, power consumption, CO2 emissions and performance. Due to the more realistic testing conditions, the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions values measured according to the WLTP are often higher than those measured under the NEDC. This may result in corresponding changes in vehicle taxation as of 1 September 2018. To use the We Connect Start services, you need a Volkswagen ID user account and to log in to We Connect Start with your username and password. A separate We Connect Start contract must also be concluded online with Volkswagen AG. After vehicle handover you have 90 days in which to register the vehicle via the Volkswagen app (available in the App Store and Google Play Store) and use the We Connect Start services for the full duration of the agreed free period. The use of We Connect Start mobile online services is enabled by means of an integrated internet connection. Volkswagen AG will be liable for the associated data costs incurred within Europe, with the exception of the Internet Radio and Wi-Fi hotspot services. For the use of the Internet Radio and Wi-Fi hotspot services, data packages can be purchased from Cubic Telecom, our mobile communications partner, and used in the network coverage area within many European countries. You can find information on prices and supported countries at https://vw.cubictelecom.com. Alternatively, you can use the “Internet Radio” service and the “Wi-Fi hotspot” with a mobile device (e.g. smartphone), provided it has the ability to function as a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot. In this case, the corresponding services are only available subject to an existing or separate mobile phone contract between you and your mobile network operator and only within the coverage area of the respective mobile network. Additional fees (for example, roaming charges) may arise when exchanging data over the Internet, depending on your particular mobile phone rate and especially when using the service abroad.  A smartphone with a suitable iOS or Android operating system and SIM card with data option with an existing mobile data contract or one to be agreed separately between you and your mobile data provider is required to use the free Volkswagen app.  The availability of the individual services described in the packages may differ depending on equipment, vehicle and country. The services are available for the agreed contract period and may be subject to substantive changes during the contract period. A two- or three-zone air conditioning system is required for voice control. Online Voice Control is currently available for the following languages: English (UK and US), German, Danish, French, Italian, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Swedish, Spanish and Czech. The language you can use to interact with Voice Control depends on the language selected in your infotainment system.

To use the VW Connect and VW Connect Plus or We Connect and We Connect Plus services for the ID. family, you need a Volkswagen ID user account and need to log into VW Connect / VW Connect Plus or We Connect / We Connect Plus with your username and password. A separate VW Connect / VW Connect Plus or We Connect / We Connect Plus contract must also be concluded online with Volkswagen AG. After vehicle handover you have 90 days in which to register the vehicle at myvolkswagen.net or via the Volkswagen” app and app (available in the App Store and Google Play Store) and use the VW Connect Plus / We Connect Plus services for the full duration of the agreed initial free period. If you register at a later date, the duration of the initial period will be reduced accordingly. You can view the exact period during the activation process or following activation on myvolkswagen.net. When the initial VW Connect Plus / We Connect Plus contract period has expired, this may be renewed for a fee.  Some VW Connect / VW Connect Plus or We Connect / We Connect Plus mobile online services can only be used via the Volkswagen” app. A smartphone with a suitable iOS or Android operating system and SIM card with data option with an existing mobile data contract or one to be agreed separately between you and your mobile data provider is required to use the free app. Additional fees (for example, roaming charges) may arise when exchanging data on the Internet, depending on your particular mobile phone rate and especially when using the service abroad.  The mobile online services are available for the agreed contract period and may be subject to substantive changes during the contract period.
