Pod Point will apply to the Office of Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) on your behalf so you don't have to worry.

Pod Point offer fast, safe and wi-fi enabled chargepoints for your home from £279 including standard installation, and inclusive of the OLEV grant.

Up to £500 off with an OLEV grant

With government grants here to help, it’s never been easier or more affordable to install a charging station at home.

Low Emission Vehicles

The Office for Low Emission Vehicles has introduced an excellent scheme that makes installing an at-home charging station a lot more affordable. You could receive a £500 grant as long as you meet the following criteria:

  • You purchased a fully electric/plug-in hybrid vehicle from the 1st October 2016.
  • You have off-street parking.
  • You use an OLEV-approved installer.

If you meet all three, then you’re good to go.

Recharge while you work

Your employer could also benefit from installing a charging station if they apply to the Workplace Charging Scheme. It gives them £300 off the cost of installation and it will also encourage more employees to go electric in the future.
