New car warranty

Designed to be worry-free. We go to great lengths to ensure that you're happy with your purchase.

That's why when you buy a new passenger car from an authorised Volkswagen retailer in the UK we'll provide a comprehensive warranty to cover you against defects and repairs for the first three years. This is made up of:

  •     A 2-year unlimited mileage manufacturers warranty
  •     A further 1 year / 60,000 miles (whichever is soonest) warranty

This means you're covered for a total of 3 years or up to 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. Exclusions apply throughout, so please read our Terms and Conditions.

When you purchase All-in from Volkswagen3, you’ll get up to two year’s Warranty provided by Volkswagen UK and administered by Volkswagen Financial Services. This Warranty has been designed to cover the costs of repairing or replacing the covered components that have suffered a sudden electrical or mechanical failure during the period of cover (excludes no-claim period). Further details are available in the terms and conditions.

If your vehicle’s previous Volkswagen UK or Volkswagen Financial Services warranty expired over 30 days ago, then you won’t be able to claim in the first 30 days of your All-in Warranty (a “no-claim period”). Effectively, you’ll have 23 months where you can make a claim on your warranty.

The All-in Warranty does not cover any vehicle already covered under any other guarantee, insurance, warranty and/or gesture of goodwill.
