The buying process for an ID model has changed

As consumer buying behaviour changes, Volkswagen UK are making some changes to the way our 100% electric vehicles are sold.

Customers will buy direct from Volkswagen UK (via our retailers, who act as our Agents), giving them confidence that the price they see on the website is the same as the price they will be charged in their chosen retailer, wherever they are in the UK. We may of course continue to run promotions or provide discounts, for example to volume or key purchasers such as the NHS and other similar customers.

The retailer will still be there to help customers with specialist product knowledge and advice ensuring they buy the right car for them and their lifestyle. And of course, the retailer will be on hand to deliver the same expert servicing and maintenance they do today.

If you are selecting any other Volkswagen vehicle (excluding the Volkswagen ID.3, ID.4, ID.5, ID.7, ID.7 Tourer or ID.Buzz) then prices listed are Manufacturer’s ‘On the road’ Recommended Retail Price. Actual prices are set by Volkswagen authorised retailers in their sole discretion – always obtain these prices from your chosen Volkswagen Retailer.  Recommended On-The-Road (OTR) retail prices include: delivery charge, number plates, new vehicle registration fee, the first year's Vehicle Excise Duty and VAT (calculated at 20%).
