We Charge functions are integrated into the Volkswagen app. Use the app to search and find public charging stations and check their availability in real time. You can view all your charging sessions for full cost transparency. Control of your charging card and plans is just a tap away. Sound good? You can download the app here. You can also scan the QR code and download the app straight to your smartphone.

We Charge in-car app

The We Charge In-Car App allows you to perform a detailed search of charge points in a specific location. It can be downloaded and installed free of charge from the In-Car Shop. There are many different ways to filter charging stations: by charging capacity, availability, Plug & Charge compatibility, operator or connector, for instance. The In-Car App also shows live and predicted availability and POIs in the area around the charge point, such as toilets and restaurants. You can send your preferred charge point to the navigation system and navigate straight there or integrate it into your route. The We Charge In-Car App also expands the charging station details in the navigation system.
You can also give feedback in the In-Car App and read feedback from other users.

Important information :

1.
Lithium-ion batteries, of the type used in most electric vehicles (including Volkswagen electric vehicles) have a restricted lifespan. Battery capacity will reduce over time, with use and charging. Reduction in battery capacity will affect the performance of the vehicle, including the range achievable, and is one of a number of factors that may impact resale value. New vehicle performance figures (including battery capacity and range) may be provided for the purposes of comparison between vehicles. You should not rely on new vehicle performance figures (including battery capacity and range), in relation to used vehicles with older batteries, as they will not reflect used vehicle performance in the real world. For further information on battery degradation/preservation and the Volkswagen 8 year/100,00 mile new car battery warranty, please see here. Exclusions and Warranty Terms Apply.
4.
The plans shown and charging map are a service provided by Volkswagen Group Charging GmbH (Elli). To purchase these charging plans, you need a Volkswagen ID (VW-ID) and the Volkswagen app. To view and purchase the entire range of charging plans in the Volkswagen app, a vehicle must be added in the app. If you prefer your VW ID data not to be passed onto Volkswagen Group Charging GmbH (Elli), you can make an alternative agreement via www.elli.eco without the special conditions. The charging cards and ID. Charger models are a service provided by Volkswagen Group Charging GmbH (Elli).
5.
All prices shown here include legally applicable VAT.
6.
Values determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP). The span of ranges for the equipment versions of a model is based on test roller measurements. In practice, the actual range varies depending on factors including driving style, speed, use of convenience/auxiliary equipment, outside temperature, number of passengers/additional load, topography and the battery's age and wear process.
8.

The specified consumption and emissions values were obtained using the legally required measurement procedure. On 1 January 2022, the WLTP test cycle fully replaced the NEDC test cycle. Accordingly, no NEDC values are available for new type-approved vehicles after this date. Figures are not based on a single individual vehicle and are not part of the offer, but serve solely to facilitate comparisons between different types of vehicles. Additional equipment and accessories (attachments, tyre format, etc.) could change relevant vehicle parameters, such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics. As well as weather and traffic conditions and personal driving style, these add-ons could also affect a vehicle’s fuel consumption, power consumption, CO2 emissions and performance. Due to the more realistic testing conditions, the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions values measured according to the WLTP are often higher than those measured under the NEDC. This may result in corresponding changes in vehicle taxation as of 1 September 2018. Further information about the differences between the WLTP and NEDC is available at https://www.volkswagen.co.uk/en/owners-and-drivers/important-information/wltp.html.

Further information regarding official fuel consumption and the official, specific CO₂ emissions for new passenger vehicles can be found in the “Guidelines on fuel consumption, CO₂ emissions and electricity consumption of new cars” which is available free of charge from all points of sale and DAT Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH, Hellmuth-Hirth-Str. 1, 73760 Ostfildern, Germany or at www.dat.de/co2.

^If you are selecting a Volkswagen ID.3, ID.4, ID.5 or ID.7 then prices shown are the MDP (Manufacturer's Direct Price).  This is the price set by Volkswagen which you pay for the vehicle.  Volkswagen ID vehicles are sold by Volkswagen UK, a trading division of Volkswagen Group United Kingdom Limited (please note that you will need to visit an authorised Volkswagen Retailer (acting as agent for Volkswagen UK) to order, purchase and take delivery of your Volkswagen ID vehicle).  The MDP includes delivery to an authorised Volkswagen Retailer (acting as agent for Volkswagen UK), number plates, new vehicle registration fee, the first year's Vehicle Excise Duty and VAT (calculated at 20%).  You can find out more about the Volkswagen model for selling ID vehicles by clicking https://www.volkswagen.co.uk/en/legal/mdp-explained.html.

If you are selecting any other Volkswagen vehicle (excluding the Volkswagen ID.3, ID.4, ID.5 and ID.7) then prices listed are Manufacturer’s ‘On the road’ Recommended Retail Price. Actual prices are set by Volkswagen authorised retailers in their sole discretion – always obtain these prices from your chosen Volkswagen Retailer.  Recommended On-The-Road (OTR) retail prices include: delivery charge, number plates, new vehicle registration fee, the first year's Vehicle Excise Duty and VAT (calculated at 20%).

Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information above. Prices are taken from the Volkswagen website - this website contains a large number of products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the products listed may be incorrectly priced. Volkswagen may change prices at any time (this includes where there are government changes in regulation and/or legislation). There may be a delay to any price displaying correctly on our materials and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some vehicles may be incorrectly priced. Always check prices with your local retailer.

For fuel consumption and CO2 information for vehicles, view values in the configurator.

Please be advised we may not be able to provide valuations for vehicles which are outside certain age or mileage ranges, specialist or customised, or not registered in the UK. The actual sale price is dependent on a number of additional factors, which you can discuss further with your retailer. T&Cs will apply.
