The Golf GTI TCR

Get ready for our most powerful GTI ever

Power. Performance. Precision.

Meet the new Golf GTI TCR. This road-ready version of our famous TCR-spec touring car packs a mighty 290 PS punch in its 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine. Get behind the wheel and feel your pulse race.

Exterior design that pushes boundaries

It’s the finer details that give the GTI TCR its distinctive look. The side sills have been widened while the front splitter has been made more visible to enhance the car’s sportier profile. The car has also been kitted out with a stainless steel dual exhaust to provide an extra kick. Hexagonal side decals echo the muscular front grille and feature the TCR lettering.

Roof spoiler

We’ve redesigned the GTI roof spoiler especially for the TCR. Matching your chosen colour, it’s unique shape makes the GTI TCR more aerodynamic to minimise drag and maximise thrust. The extra downforce it generates allows the car to maintain a vice-like grip even around tight corners.

Alloy wheels

Built to turn heads, the optional 19-inch ‘Reifnitz’ alloy wheels are finished in matt black and proudly show off the formidable steel brakes beneath. The GTI TCR is also available with standard 18-inch ‘Quaranta’ wheels.

Striking looks. Total comfort.

Similar to other GTI models, the interior of the TCR comes with black upholstery with flashes of red woven throughout. Black and red also feature prominently on both the gearstick and the leather-trimmed steering wheel, which comes with the same marker in the 12 o’clock position as the racing version of the Golf GTI TCR. The striking stainless steel pedals are a nod to the car’s motorsports pedigree.

Sports seats

The sport seats' microfibre fabric was developed especially for the GTI TCR. The sides mould around your body so that your drive is as comfortable as it is exhilarating. The rear of the front seats are stitched with the GTI logo, a classic feature of the TCR’s predecessors.
