Available on Golf Match the 1.5TSI eHybrid offers 204PS of power and 89 miles of electric range, the Golf Style the 1.5TSI eHybrid offers 204PS of power and 88 miles of electric range, while the Golf GTE offers an impressive 272PS and 82 miles of electric range.
For a company car driver, you can enjoy Benefit in Kind (BIK) at 5%. Meaning a 20% tax payer will pay £30.96 a month BIK and a 40% tax payer will be paying £61.93 per month BIK.*

Efficient performance: The new Golf Plug-In Hybrids. Now open for order
The newly developed second generation of the Volkswagen plug-in hybrid drive delivers a system output of 150 kW (204 PS) in the new Golf Match eHybrid and Style eHybrid. The even sportier performance version, the Golf GTE, develops a system output of 200 kW (272 PS). Power is transferred to the front wheels via a six-speed direct shift gearbox specially designed for the plug-in hybrid drive systems.
The Golf Match eHybrid delivers up to 89 miles of electric range, the Golf Style eHybrid delivers up to 88 miles of electric range, and Golf GTE up to 82 miles (official test figures)2. What’s more, improved charging properties compared to earlier versions reduce the charging time. The onboard battery for Golf Match, Style eHybrid and Golf GTE is now capable of AC charging at a rate of 11 kW (previously 3.6 kW) Charge time AC 11 KW 0% - to 100% in as little as 2.5 hours using a 11kW charger and now equipped with DC quick-charging at up to 40 kW.
The longer electric range compared to earlier versions, fast charging and the practicality expected of a Golf make the Golf Plug-in Hybrids the perfect future car for your everyday.

Fans of the Golf GTI will be pleased to learn that it is becoming even sportier: the GTI output of its turbocharged engine is increasing by 20PS to 265 PS. The Golf GTI Clubsport now shows even more motorsport passion right from the start – with its even sportier front design, additional air intakes and many details in high-gloss black.
The Golf R and Golf R Black Edition now open for order
The star of the brand now even stronger. With a maximum output of 245 kW (333 hp) as standard, the Golf R sprints from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.6 seconds and becomes the most powerful Golf of all time.
